Getting Started #1: Welcome to Pinterest for Business!

Pinterest for business

Hi Medical Cases!
People come to Pinterest every day to find and collect the things they love, and businesses like yours play a big part in helping them pursue those interests. While you're settling in, we'll send you a few tips to make sure you get the most out of Pinterest.
Today's all about the basics.

Pinterest basics
First of all: What's a Pin?
Pins are like handsome little bookmarks—just click a Pin to see the site it came from.
Collect your pins on boards
Boards are where you organize your Pins. If you're a home improvement business, you could save ideas for remodeling a bathroom to a "House Projects" board, for example.

The Pin cycle
Your content can have quite the life here because of the way people find and share things on Pinterest. Take a look at what we mean:
The Pin
Sara sees a backpack that catches her eye on one of her favorite websites. She Pins it to her "Outdoor Adventures" board.
The Repin
Alex stumbles on this brand new Pin while searching for "rolltop backpack." He saves it for himself on his "Back to School" board.
The click-through
Janet follows Alex's board and comes across the Pin in her home feed. She clicks through on the backpack so she can check out the website it came from.
And on it goes—people keep finding, saving, and clicking through on Pins they love.
